Cycles:
When I started studying astrology, I hated all these discussions about time. I wanted life to go on a forward and upward line like this:↑
However the first thing that you see in astrology is a circle: 0
Apparently, life doesn’t look like a commercial; they look like the news where one day they show you a line up, the next day a line down, and sometimes the all the options and some more:↑→ ← ↓
Life looks like the weather forecast: sunny, rainy, windy, snowy, you name it, its there.
So, the first thing to understand when you study your own cycles, is that there is room for all of them, it doesn’t matter if you don’t want to experience a few of them, if you enjoy some and hate other, you will have cycles of all kinds.
There is time to work, there is time to play, there is time to study, and there is time to reflect, time to take responsibility, time to pass that responsibility to someone else. Time to fall in love, time to fall out of love, time to get together, time to separate and the list goes on and on. It’s not all going to be great all the time, and for sure will not get a miracle where everything in your life just becomes perfect. As soon as you stop looking for that one special day, when all your wishes are realized, the better for you. Then you will start noticing the small daily miracle, and hopefully you will be brave enough to see that you are living you wishes right now to some degree.
I am going to pause here for a moment and remind you that there is no One Destiny in your life. There can’t be. There are many many small stations that you would like to visit, that you set up along the road, sometimes one leading to the other, sometimes not.
And always, there are a few cycles going on at once. Our daily lives are cycled according to the sun, one spin around and its one day, but this day also belongs to a month, to a season, to a year and to a decade. This day is filled with hours and minutes and seconds. It is hard to say when a cycle really begins, or when it ends, this is one question that some astrological training can help you a lot with.
