Full Moon Leo/Aquarius August 2011 Horoscope

full moon leo aquariusFull Moons are time to reflect, time to celebrate, and time to make friends with the night. Many of our holidays are still celebrated around full moons when the nights are naturally illuminated.  Full Moons are also the time where people get in tune with their deepest feelings, when humanity guides are transmitting the light of conciseness, understanding and compassion.

It is advised Not to start any new project around within the 24 hours of the full moon, but rather use that day for mundane tasks, while enjoying an acute sense of meditation.

Take a look at your chart, locate the 20th degree of the Fixed signs, any planet on this degree will be affected by the full moon. In affected I mean, understood in a new way, rather than acted upon.

Meditation points to ponder in this full moon:

Self esteem – the right way of gaining it vs. the wrong way

Creativity – what is my unique way of being creative (stay real and practical please!)

Personal boundaries – do I know where they are, am I happy with those? Do I respect others’ right for their boundary?

Group service – how can my personal talents can find expression within my chosen group.

Leo – Aquarius

The Leo/Aquarius Full Moon is a good time to magnify the individual and its place within the brotherhood of people. Leo connects us to our personal creative power, and to our developed ego, while Aquarius connects us to the higher realms enabling our egos to serve others, with full respect and correct way.

What is the ego? The ego in itself is NOT a bad thing, it is that part in us that knows where others stop and I begin, it is that part that is unique, able to touch the world in its own way, and leave a personal finger print. All of the above are spiritual practices required of every living being: be who you are (Leo), let others be who they are (Aquarius)

Leo develops an identity: unique, never to be repeated (no, your reincarnations are not you, they are like relatives), creative and able to express itself. Aquarius takes this identity, and connects it with groups of like minded people. It shows the identity the power of sharing in dreams and hops for the betterment of all.

When discussing Leo/Aquarius the issue of personal worth rises up. You may believe that some people are worth more, you may believe that all are equal. You may believe that to feel good about yourself you have to step on other people or you may believe that feeling good comes from helping other people.

Leo represents the current known ego, while Aquarius represents the “higher self”, one cannot be without the other, the same way that you will not be You without the Group around you that acknowledges You.

full moon august 2011 horoscope

The full moon horoscope: August 13, 18:57 GMT, 20th  degree of Leo/Aquarius.

The Horoscope of the Full Moon highlights the Sun in Leo conjunct Venus and Mercury. People will want to express who they are, and find it easy to define their “ring pass not”, however, the Sun is in Yod configuration (a 150° aspect to two planets that square each other) with Uranus in Aries on the one side, and Pluto in Capricorn on the other. The word that best describes this specific configuration is: frustration.

The moon in Aquarius reminds us to take a “cooler” view of our personal situation, to try and add some reason to our choices and emotional reaction, it is in a quincunx to Mars in Cancer, adding more to the feeling that we know what we aspire to but cannot find the way to do anything about it.

On a global scale, it will highlight the differences between what various groups within each country want and the gaps in their point of view of what is right for each individual. Internal conflicts are visible, forcing us to acknowledge them, as the first step in bridging across them.

Each person’s personal revolution and the various countries that are experiencing those now will have to define what it is that they want to achieve, find out who is on which side, and the answers may surprise many.
